REVOLUTIONIZE ACCESSIBILITY
Accessing everyday products and services can be challenging for people with disabilities. That’s where our non-profit technology foundation steps in. Our focus is on enhancing accessibility for individuals with disabilities. Our mission is to empower them through innovative designs and products. By using an open-source and easy-to-license format, we aim to enable greater independence and confidence. Our goal is to revolutionize accessibility for disabled individuals. We will do this by simplifying access to products designed to meet their needs. .
We have become used to making new technological advances a part of our daily lives. It’s important to apply this capability to mobility equipment as well. At the MIF, we understand this need and plan on delivering solutions. We want to give greater accessibility to those with a physical disability. We are developing innovative products for people living with physical impairments. Products that help them to meet their specific needs. Our goal is to provide access to life-enhancing developments in modern mobility technologies. We stand at the forefront of making real change happen.
Everyone deserves equal access to technology and the opportunities it provides. From assistive technology devices to adaptive software, we are constantly exploring new ways to improve accessibility and foster independence. We work closely with partners in the disability community to understand their needs. This lets us develop solutions tailored to their specific challenges. Through our collaborative approach, we can create products that deliver results.
Mission to Increase Accessibility
Society needs a beacon of hope and empowerment for those with disabilities. We strive to create a more accessible world for everyone through more capable and easily repaired designs. Our steadfast commitment to breaking down barriers and promoting inclusivity will enable us to overhaul our understanding of mobility and independence.
Our comprehensive approach centers on collaborating with a diverse array of experts. Design and modeling depend on input from engineers to disability advocates to end users. Too many times, accessibility is an afterthought. Imagine a future where accessibility is rather an integral part of every aspect of society. We look forward to a world where everyone can navigate their environment with ease. That means revolutionizing accessibility to provide everyone with a fulfilling, barrier-free life.
Independence in Mobility
Independent mobility is a foundational aspect for promoting an inclusive society. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for many individuals. With this core principle at heart, we strive to develop cutting-edge technology-based solutions. Our solutions focus on removing barriers to create new opportunities for individuals with diverse mobility needs. Tailor-made modular options have the potential to revolutionize the mobility industry. They allow disabled individuals to access the world with confidence. The MIF is spearheading a brighter future – one filled with greater ease and freedom of movement for all. Join us in embracing these innovative solutions as we work to build a world that celebrates and supports mobility independence.
What We Do
The MIF develops, licenses, and distributes innovative open-source accessibility technology. This includes products, product designs, and product component designs. These allow people with disabilities access to items tailored specifically for them. We develop these items from scratch and iterate over them until they meet our quality control standards. We then license these designs to organizations that have the capability of manufacturing them according to our specifications.
Impact of Our Work
We create accessible products and services tailored for individuals with disabilities. This enables them to live independently while ensuring safety and comfort. We also raise awareness about the diverse needs of people with disabilities. Specifically, about how technology can meet those needs and help challenge societal perceptions.
Our first project focuses on a discontinued power wheelchair. This model is highly valued by active members of the disability community. Our board president has firsthand experience with inadequate wheelchairs. He understands the market demand for an affordable power chair option.
Many power chair users are looking for an outdoor capable chair that is still useable at home. No power chair currently on the market fulfills these requirements. The MIFs new power wheelchair design addresses these critical needs. It provides a unique solution for enhanced independence.
Conclusion:
Our mission is to develop, license and distribute innovative open-source accessibility technology.
On top of our design and product development services, we will also provide additional resources. These will include educational materials and guidance on how individuals can use the technology we offer.
Everyone should have access to the same level of convenience, comfortability, safety, and functionality. This is what drives us forward in creating these resources for everyone. This is what will allow us to revolutionize accessibility.

Sounds like a great idea. Would like to communicate with you about a prototype that has been languishing for nearly 20 years thet would be of ultimate benefit to those of us who have lost our mobility.
Look forward to hearing from you as to what your protocol is for collaboration and/recommendations.
Stay Blessed
